New Audi RS 6 Avant

High performance meets huge practicality in the shape of the fourth generation Audi RS 6 Avant.

Its beating heart is a powerful 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo TFSI petrol engine that delivers epic 600PS performance but also responsible efficiency thanks to its offering of mild hybrid drive.

Complementing its performance car power, the RS 6 Avant displays performance car looks and takes some of its design cues from the R8 with 21" alloys, flared wheel arches and sporty, intelligent RS Matrix LED headlights amongst the splendour of its standard features.

The interior accentuates the new RS 6 Avant’s sporty character with heated and ventilated Valcona Leather sports seats and a flat-bottomed, two-spoke, leather Sport steering wheel incorporating aluminium-look gear-shift paddles for fingertip control of the 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. Discreetly housed touch screen controls and a Virtual Cockpit that displays RS-specific information in crisp colour detail add the final element of sophistication.

Like the rest of the Audi Avant models, the RS 6 is just as accommodating as it is alluring. Its seats-up cargo-carrying capacity is 565 litres but its versatile, three-part, split-folding configuration means there are 1,680 litres available when the rear seats are down.
