At Sinclair Van Centre we like to take care of our customers no matter what life throws at them. With that in mind we have a range of insurance, breakdown and warranty products designed to take the stress and worry out of running your fleet or van.

New Van Warranty

Drive away a new van from Sinclair Van Centres and you will be able to enjoy the peace-of-mind of a three-year warranty, which is designed to protect you against the failure of most mechanical and electrical components due to manufacturing defects.

New Crafter owners will receive three years’ unlimited mileage, whilst for all other new Volkswagen vans, the warranty is unlimited for years one and two but limited to 100,000 miles in the third year.

Whilst comprehensive, the warranty will not cover damage or defects resulting from:

Repairs by unauthorised workshop
Installation of non-approved Volkswagen parts
Failure to comply with the operation instruction in the Owner's Instruction Manual, Service Schedule Book or any literature supplied by Volkswagen or ourselves
Special fittings, conversions or additional bodywork
Everyday wear and tear on non-durable parts
Damage resulting from improper use of the van

Used Van Warranty

As part of the package of benefits provided under the Approved Used van programme, you will receive the reassurance of a comprehensive warranty as well as roadside assistance from Sinclair Van Centres.
There will be no excess to pay and the cost of repairs, replacement parts and labour up to the current market value of the covered vehicle* will be taken care of, including complex items such as the engine, gearbox, steering and suspension.
It will be our pleasure to give you a minimum of 12 months warranty if the Volkswagen you acquire from us is less than three-years-old.
On vans over three-years-old, you will be covered for a minimum of six months.
And if your van is less than two years of age, you’ll be looked after too as you will receive the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty to cover you until it reaches three years or 100,000 miles.
For your added peace-of-mind, you can also call upon Volkswagen Roadside Assistance which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and Europe-wide should you need it.
We understand that time without your Volkswagen van is time you can ill afford, which is why if it is recovered to a Volkswagen Van Centre like one of ours and cannot be fixed in a reasonable time period, you will be provided with a replacement vehicle in order to keep you and your business running.
We’ll make a similar gesture by giving you a replacement vehicle if your van requires a warranty repair that takes longer than 24 hours to complete too.

Extended Warranty

Protect your business and your van for longer with a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Extended Warranty, which prolongs the cover once the standard three-year warranty supplied with every new van expires.
This peace-of-mind package means you can safeguard yourself against the cost of future repairs for an additional one or two years, or up to 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.
It provides the exact same cover you enjoy under the original manufacturer warranty and is available with a choice of mileage limits to suit you.
If taken out, there is no restriction to the number of claims you can make and you can continue to enjoy the reassurance of any repairs being carried out by an official Volkswagen Van Centre with nothing to pay. It can even be transferred to a new owner if you sell the vehicle during the period of cover.
The only stipulation in arranging your Extended Warranty is that it must be purchased within three months of your van’s original registration.
